If Bob Ross were still alive...
and if he could capture last weekend's events on canvas...
I imagine he'd paint something that communicates that
our family had a happy little weekend.

Ready for a weekend together.
Chad & the boys headed to the KSU vs. Texas A&M game.
Then, they planned to camp overnight, in Manhattan. |
 |
Feel the love?
L didn't want J touching him.
At this point, I figured Chad might need some prayer
to save his sanity. |
 |
Quick photo with Mommy, before they left for Manhattan.
I was off to have a pedicure.
My dear friend, Jen, joined me.
So fun & relaxing!
What a treat!

While I do love Chad & the boys,
it was nice to have a day to myself.
After all, this is how I feel about camping:
So...
I spent some awesome time in God's word,
went to an adoption fundraiser for a friend,
listened to the end of the K-State game,
went to the Saturday night service at church
AND
completed some major organizing.
Good-bye kitchen counter clutter craziness!!
Hello, classy drawers & a countertop I can actually see.
It's even lasted more than one day.
Three, so far! THREE!

Here's a little peek inside the drawer.
My favorite part: We stash our cell phones there.
I fed the cell chargers through the back & into the drawers.
Now, our phones have a little home & no longer live at the end of our counter.
Just makes me happy.
It's the little things, ya know?
Side note: I've written four blog posts in the past 24 hours. So, keep scrolling or clicking older post,
to catch up on all of our fall activities/events.
Christmas is right around the corner.
Can you believe it????? |
